ICE (iMPACTING CHILDHOOD EDUCATION)
Impacting childhood Education(ICE) aims at the holistic development of children in the age group of 3-6 years in rural areas by providing quality ECE which is affordable and accessible to the children. It uses the Montessori Method and Integrated approach(theme, activity, play, inquiry, and formal education) for the development of the 5 domains such as cognitive, creativity, social & emotional, language, and physical developments.

Focus Area
We work for the holistic development of the children and focus on these five domains –

Model
This whole process works in 3 different models for three different stakeholders-
- Anganwadi – We provide capacity building to Anganwadi workers and provide them the teaching materials to teach different concepts.
- Low-Cost School (Center-Based) – We open our center on their campus for the existing children under the age group of 3-6 years. We renovate their learning spaces, provide a curriculum with pedagogy and monitoring tools, train their Teachers, mentor the parents to create awareness, and seek their support.
- Standalone Preschool – We locate educated and passionate women who are willing to run their playschools. We train them, provide curriculum (pedagogy and monitoring tools), help them to set up a playschool from scratch following the guidelines of ECCE, and create awareness in the parents.

- Improve the learning outcomes of children in the age group of 3-6 years in rural areas.
- Increase the enrolment of children in the rural areas.
- To set up learning spaces in rural areas that provide quality ECE education that is affordable and accessible to the parents.
- Holistic development of the children which includes 5 development areas.

KidStation Preschool (Standalone Preschool), Muzaffarpur village, Nalanda, Bihar
We started in the month of April with 8 students of different ages with 15 days of demo classes. It’s a standalone – preschool based which started with a single room and Teacher (Micro-women Entrepreneur).
Currently, the strength has risen to 27+. This playschool is managed by Mrs. Shweta Kumari and another Teacher.

KidStation Center (Mahatma Jyotiwa Fule Shikshan Sansthan), Biharsharif, Nalanda.
It’s a center-based preschool started by Mahatma Jyotiwa Fule Shikshan Sansthan, Biharsharif, Nalanda. We partnered with them in the month of April for the Pre Primary classes.

KidStation Preschool (Standalone Preschool), Bettiah **Closed Now
It’s a standalone preschool for semi urban parents started in the month of April 2019 located in East Champaran district of Bihar. It is designed to meet the needs of a small town in a village.
** The Center had to be closed due to some problem.

We create awareness among the parents and the community about the importance of early childhood education.
